Our Dental Team

 

Millie Braswell – Treatment Coordinator

Millie has been with our office for 25 years as our receptionist. She thoroughly enjoys working with patients and helping them with their insurance needs, treatment plans, and the financial end of treatment. It has been very rewarding for her to build trusting relationships with patients as she guides them through treatment. On the weekends, Millie enjoys spending time with her husband, Gene and her large family, which includes 5 children and 13 grandchildren! She is also very active in her church and she loves to travel in her free time.

 

Christy Carter – Treatment Coodinator

Christy has worked in dentistry over 13 years and joined our office in 2015 as a part of our administrative team. In her free time, Christy enjoys spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and three dogs.

 

Carolyn Carter – RDH

Carolyn graduated from Fayetteville Technical Community College in 1983. She began her career as a hygienist working in Fayetteville and then move to Rocky Mount in 1990 to work in our office. She has been a hygienist at our office for 28 years. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, her Dachshund (Cassi), reading, and traveling.

 

Debbie Choate – RDH

Debbie graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry in 1974. She has been working as a dental hygienist at our office for 43 years. Debbie values family time with her husband, son, daughter, son-in-law, and especially her five year old grandson. Her passions include traveling to the beach, gardening, and bird-watching. Many of Debbie’s patients seem like family to her as “we have watched each other grow up!”

 

Shannon Frye – RDH

Shannon graduated with her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from Halifax Community College in 2009. Prior to returning to school in 2007, she gained valuable experience as a dental assistant (DAII) for 18+ years. Shannon has been with our office since 2015 and she has provided quality treatment for her patients. She is passionate about developing rapport and relationships with patients and fellow staff members. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys spending time with her beautiful family, quiet time by a fireside, morning jogs with her dog (Jess( and finding creative ways to be a blessing to God and others.

 

Michelle Cooke – RDH

Michelle was born and raised in Roanoke Rapids. She now resides in Rocky Mount and has a family that includes 3 wonderful children. Michelle graduated from Wayne Community College in 1989 with a degree in Dental Hygiene. In her free time, Michelle enjoys watching her kids play sports and spending fun time at Lake Gaston with family and friends. 

 

Lisa Taylor – Dental Assistant II

Lisa has been a dental assistant in our office for 30+ years. She received both her radiology certification in 1989 and received her Dental Assisting II degree in 1992 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. Lisa is married and has two beautiful children. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family.

 

Kim Haggerty – Dental Assistant II

Kim has enjoyed working at our office for over 20 years! In 1992, she graduated from Peace College and in 1994, Kim earned a B.A. degree in Communication from North Carolina State University. Upon completion of the Dental Assisting Program at Wake Tech and the Dental Assisting National Board, Kim joined our team in 1995. In addition to being a WOLFPACK fan, Kim enjoys spending time with her family and dog, traveling with her husband, and going to the beach!

 

Crystal Robinson – Dental Assistant II

Crystal has been a dental surgical assistant for more than 17 years where she assisted both periodontists and oral surgeons. She received her Dental Assisting II degree from Old Dominion University in 2000. In addition, Crystal has received a Dental Anesthesia Certification from North Florida University in 2008. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her son and 3 dogs.

Michelle Severini – Dental Assistant II

Michelle graduated from Halifax Community College with her associate of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. She is passionate providing excellent patient care and educating patients in their journey for improved oral health.  For fun, Michelle enjoys working in her salon, spending time with her husband, their four children, and her miniature schnauzer Pearl.
